Death by Garlic

A delicious, irresistible, to die for, super-charged garlic pasta dish that's sure to keep vampires... and everyone else at bay!
TIME: 5 minutes prep, 20 minutes total YIELD: 8 cups, 4–6 servings RECOMMENDED VARIETY: Chesnok
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
10–12 cloves garlic, minced or very finely chopped
1lb Italian pork or chicken sausage
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1lb dry penne pasta
⅓ cup grated Romano cheese
Cook pasta according to directions in heavily salted water.
In a skillet, brown garlic in oil then add Italian sausage and cook until brown.
Add salt, crushed red pepper flakes, and parsley, then remove from heat.
Toss penne pasta with garlic sausage mixture and Romano cheese, then serve!
