Sweet & Savory Garlic Slow Cooker Brisket
This easy slow cooker brisket comes out tender every time and has a balanced sweet, savory, garlicky flavor with just the right amount of heat. Try it as a warm sandwich too!

TIME: 10 minutes prep, 30 minutes total
YIELD: 10 servings

INGREDIENTS
1 beef brisket (3 – 3½ pounds) cut in half
3 – 4 cloves (or more if desired) garlic, finely minced
1 cup ketchup
½ cup raspberry jalapeño jelly or jam
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 envelope onion soup mix
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bowl, garlic, combine ketchup, jelly/jam, black pepper and soup mix and whisk to combine.
Place half of the brisket in a 5-qt. slow cooker and spread half of the sauce mixture over it.
Place the remaining half of the brisket in the slow cooker and top with the remaining sauce mixture.
Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours, or until meat is tender.
Slice the cooked brisket and serve with the cooked sauce.
TIPS
Substitute the raspberry jalapeño jelly/jam with a smoked peach jam for another layer of flavor complexity!
