• plants are tall, dark green, and very hardy (as the name suggests)
• bulbs appear to be somewhat resistant to many of the diseases that can affect some other types of garlic
• originally came from Germany, but grows well in all but the most southerly states.
• bulbs are medium-large to large in size and contain 6–9 cloves each

The Quantity Guidelines listed above are ESTIMATES to help you decide how much of this garlic variety to order by weight so you can plan for your planting and spacing needs.

Note: Garlic is an agricultural crop that is subject to loss due to conditions beyond our control. This can even occur in the curing stage. We check each bulb before shipping them to you, and if there are any quality issues with our stock, we may need to substitute the variety you want with another, similar variety. We rarely need to do this, but if it does become necessary, we will contact you prior to shipping to discuss your options.
