Music has a dense, aromatic, rich and smooth flavor, with mild-medium heat that is spicy when eaten raw but mellows to a balanced garlicky flavor when cooked. It's often said that this versatile variety has a "true" garlic flavor, and it is most similar to garlic you might find in the supermarket, just with more great, garlicy flavor. This variety also has the highest allicin content, which is said to offer increased health benefits! A staple in any chef’s kitchen, Music is the perfect addition to soups, sauces, stir fries, marinades, rubs and dips.

Music bulbs are usually medium-large to large in size and have thick, bright white bulb wrappers that are truly porcelain in color. Each bulb contains 4–6 large cloves that can be a little sticky. The moderately thick, white clove skins are fairly easy to peel, especially when using the knife crush technique. Music garlic can keep for 8–9 months when stored at room temperature in a dry, dark place that has plenty of air circulation.

We grow all of our garlic from naturally grown or organic seed, and we never use chemicals at any time during our planting, growing, harvesting or curing processes. The Quantity Guidelines listed above are ESTIMATES to help you decide how much of this garlic variety to order by weight so you can plan for your cooking needs.

Note: Garlic is an agricultural crop that is subject to loss due to conditions beyond our control. This can even occur in the curing stage. We check each bulb before shipping them to you, and if there are any quality issues with our stock, we may need to substitute the variety you want with another, similar variety. We rarely need to do this, but if it does become necessary, we will contact you prior to shipping to discuss your options.
